Decontamination System For A Poultry Facility
AKS was commissioned to design, supply, install and commission a Chem-Sphere waste decontamination system for a large-scale poultry facility, in accordance with the latest 7.10 requirements.
The Chem-Sphere treatment plant was designed to continuously treat 12,500L/day of poultry wash down waste, treating multiple batches with free-chlorine at levels greater than 200ppm for 60 minutes.
The plant has a high level of automation with a user-friendly HMI touch screen providing total system management, with fingertip access to plant performance indicators and controls.
All the Chem-Sphere systems instrumentation is duty/ standby and the tank vents are fitted with HEPA filtration for additional safety.
