AKS Industries provides Warranties for its products to ensure that our customers and the end-users have a fully functional and a properly operating installation or piece of equipment. We have an extensive Service & Maintenance division that looks after warranty issues as well as offering Scheduled Maintenance Plans. When you opt for a Scheduled Maintenance Plan you get added benefits above and beyond your standard Warranty at no additional cost. Regularly asked questions & answers
All new AKS Industries products are covered by a Warranty, the term of which is specified with each product.
AKS Industries products come with a standard 12-month Warranty. When you receive a quote on a particular product it will include the specific Warranty term under the Terms and Conditions section.
AKS Industries does offer extended Warranties on some products for an additional cost. Ask for extended Warranty option with your product quotation.
AKS Industries Warranties generally cover faulty components that fail within the term of the specific Warranty. Faulty equipment must be supplied back to Protex Water for inspection of claim at no cost to Protex Water. Protex Water cannot supply spare equipment free of charge to ‘inspect the claim’. Where a site visit is required, travel and accommodation costs are typically not covered under Warranty.
Your Warranty can be void should the product supplied be damaged by you or your customer after it is delivered. Warranty is always contingent on the equipment being serviced and maintained in accordance with the OM manual and manufacturer’s requirements. Warranty is also void if suitable maintenance records are not kept.
If you have a maintenance issue with an AKS Industries product still under Warranty, simple contact our Service & Maintenance Group and supply them with relevant product information. We need the serial number of the product and the AKS Industries invoice number, or your order number. You can call us on 1800 810 139 or complete the Service Request Form, selecting Warranty Request. AKS Industries will contact you to obtain further details if required.
Yes, when you sign a Service Contract to look after your new asset with Protex Water you can be confident that your assets are being precisely serviced as per product requirements and under the applicable Australian Standards. We recommend pump systems undergo regular and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient operation, we are often able to prevent any possible early failures. You’ll also be provided additional product support and priority scheduling. For products using remote monitoring you’ll also be able to benefit from our ability to provide online diagnostics to more quickly resolve any issues.
