AKS provided an Elementz Groundwater Treatment Plant to the project, with a 6-stage treatment train, optioned with a high-flow smart-pump bypass for managing storm events. Managing up to 500kL/d, the treatment train includes Hydrocarbon Removal, Filtration of suspended solids and chemical organics, Pre-filtration using dual cartridge filters, Anti-scalant Dosing, Reverse Osmosis, and Chemical Dosing to maintain pH levels and provide residual disinfection.
The treated groundwater is made available for reuse purposes, increasing the buildings Greenstar rating. The plant is managed by the inbuilt Activait system, with onsite control via a large HMI Screen and remote monitoring.
