AKS was contracted to replace ageing drinking water treatment infrastructure at Kenmare Mine in Queensland for the BHP / Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA).
Providing drinking water for mine staff this Elementz Plant provides treatment of surface water to potable water with an output of up to 1L/sec, and is installed with complete duty/standby equipment to ensure operational uptime. Neatly packaged in a conditioned 40’ container, the Elementz system features Media Filtration, Ultrafiltration and UV Disinfection, and with Chlorine Dosing to eliminate any unwanted bacteria and viruses. The package was built to strict mining standards, with high quality Siemens and Endress & Hausen instrumentation throughout.
Installed with advanced water quality instrumentation, the Elementz Potable system is also enabled with remote monitoring, allowing offsite control via a smart device, providing around the clock access and control.
