D-REX Disc Diffusers

Ultimate Diffusion

The frame-less design of the D-REX Disc Diffuser body provides maximum aeration-active membrane surface. The aeration effected also is uniform over the entire membrane surface. These two benefits combine to increase oxygen transfer performance by up to 20%. As a result, D-REX 9′ disc diffusers can often be used in place of conventional 12’ disc diffusers, offering equal or better performance with substantial cost savings.

D-REX is a rugged fine bubble diffuser with a disc clamping ring, allowing membrane changing on site without tools of any kind. T

Installation is made easy using our step-by-step,  Installation and Maintenance Guide. Designed for installation with the AirRex® Systems, our modular plastic header system which can be rapidly installed in all types of aerated basins without need for adhesives or other auxiliary materials. AirRex® incorporates a unique mounting system which permits thermal expansion of the connected pipe modules.

Maintenance is reduced to a minimum, with the base plate and retaining ring are made from glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene, providing reliable service at operating temperatures up to 120°C (248°F). All components are fully resistant to formic acid.

D-REX disc diffusers are available with EPDM FLEXNORM, silicone FLEXSIL or FLEXLON membranes. D-REX® disc diffusers can operated over a wide range of air throughputs, providing outstanding process versatility and minimising maintenance.

Routine maintenance requirements are outlined in the  Installation and Maintenance Guide.
