SEWAGE Treatment PLANT

Greenbank Class A Sewage Plant, Providing Up To 300 kL/d

We were contracted to design, manufacture, install and commissioned a new containerised sewage treatment plant for the DoD base at Greenbank, in Queensland.

The treatment plant was designed to treat a peak of 200 kL/d of raw sewage with an option to 300 kL/d by switching on an additional biological train. It features a special extended turn-down function, including dosing of a Carbon, Urea and Phosphorous chemical blend.

Achieving Class A, the treatment plant uses flat sheet submerged membranes, a USEPA validated UV and Chlorine residual dosing. There is a dedicated chemical storage container with 1,000 L storage tanks and air powered decanting and transfer pumps.

The Class A treated water from the Elementz system is stored in tanks onsite and used, as required, for spray irrigation around the expansive site.
